HONG KONG -- Customs officials in Hong Kong have shut down an Internet cafe for providing paid access to pirated media -- a first for the territory.

Authorities announced Friday that they had confiscated 93 computers and seven servers holding an estimated 6,700 pirated media files, including such recent titles as "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" and "Spider-Man 3."

According to the Intl. Federation Against Copyright Theft -- Greater China, which assisted in the raid, the cafe charged customers HK$10 ($1.29) per hour for access to the pirated media.

"This is the first such raid on an Internet cafe in Hong Kong. It won't be the last," Sam Ho, executive director and general manager of IFACT-GC, said.
