Server Energy usage 24/7 .. ?

I am planning to buy a simple server with the following specs :

99000059 Compaq Proliant 3000 PII-333mhz 128MB RAM 2x4GB HDD

I've heard that if the server specs are less the power usage is lesser too..

So is there way to see how much (k)Watts it uses for one month so i can calculate the added money to the energy bill

Well firstly i dont understand why you would need to know the power consumption, are you going to run it from your house?

Secondly, its not necesarrily right that lower specs = less consumption. It all depends on the type of hardware. For example, an SSD uses less power than a mechanical HDD but is a lot quicker. Atom processors are designed to use less power, etc..

And i need just some average result.

However, why do you need to know Kw usage from home? do you know hope much you pay per kw/ph?
