The first workshop was held in Karachi, while the second one is being held in Islamabad on November 6, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at a local hotel. Software piracy is an industry-wide problem that has significant impact on the global economy, and affects legitimate businesses that have to compete with those selling counterfeit software. Software piracy has contributed to nearly $40 billion in global losses.
