I know I made a couple mistakes when 'e-arguing' with them.. but hey, I still had a point!

whats wrong in this. If they find multiple usage of HF ac they have right to ban ur site. I guess Hotfile doesnt but u do phail. U phail dude

They were arguing the limits at of which you can download in a 24hour span. If I wanted to download 200gigs in 24hours it should be up to me to decide, not hotfile who claims unlimited downloading.

The way ive seen it

RS, MU, MS = for users

Hotfile is for uploaders who want to make $. Therefore if there are choices of downloading I always ignore hotfile

Hey deleted, u have a point. But u know its really not allowed to miss use any ones service. They must be having this in their rule "No Missuse". Host gator gives unlimited hosting but just try downloading 24 hr/day through RL on them They would ban u. This is how it works & they are right. The unlimited thing is unlimited till u use it fairly.

Thats how hotfile has always advertised premium, unlimited.

Your point of downloading a bunch with host gator using rapidleech will get you ban, however I believe they state you can not use rapidleech. Thats the difference, they state that. hotfile doesnt say there is a limit. Its a scam imo. Although hotfile is right they are misusing the service in the sense of multiple people using the one account, they stating a bw limit is just wrong.

Now to get around it, have the server do all the downloading so its always 1 ip. It doesnt break there rules. Its no different then downloading and reuploading.

Look... there are NO truly unlimited hosts - every host sooner or later will kick you if you use 6 TB of bandwidth on 9$/month plan.
They run buisness and don't want to add to it from their pockets - what you do is just an abuse, and deep down you probably know it.
Personaly I'd contact them and try to solve this matter differently - maybe you could work out some "super premium" - you pay them more, they let you download more.

Technically, if he downloads data to his server and then further shares it, I don't see how that's sharing of his account
