Rip Button

Now I know what I want, I was looking for a code already made and I found this site http://www.htmlfreecodes.com/Highlig...s_and_Text.htm but I'm not gonna use that code, I want to use the blue button that say "Select All" after the code, I want to rip it.

ever heard of view page source?



basically add this tag to the textarea which you want to be highlighted:

id='thecode'

then use this for your select button:

<input onclick="highlight('thecode');" id='select_botton' value='Select All' tabindex='' type='submit' />

and add your own css code for the button with the id #select_button

I added the code into the stylesheet.css then uploaded the bg image, and pasted the code into my header file.

So what's wrong?
