Hey guys, looking for a good VPS. Planning to host a forum for warez linking. Hoping to make it quite big. I am prepared to pay around 15-30$ a month. I'd like to have the option to move to a dedicated server if site becomes larger.


What would you guys recommend for a forum with say 10k hits a day?
and the same forum with 100k hits a day.

Do you think I will need a 100mbps port or 1000?

How much ram, I was thinking 512.

Also, if someone could please explain would it be a good idea to have 2 IP's or more...any reason for this? Also would remote desktop be a good idea or not? I don't beilive I would. I have quite a bit of experience with cpanel...but I don't really want to pay $15 a month for it...I forgot the name of the free version of cpanel is it any good? Hard to get use to etc?

Anyway any help would be great.

100 Mbps is fine for a forum.

I've seen many that give root access. Trial dosent concern me since I'd have to change in 45 days...its more of a TRAP.

Not giving root access on a VPS?

On a fresh IP if you install cPanel, it automatically takes 45 day trial license.
