Getting 1000 downloads per day

That is stupid i have uploaded 10 000 files within week but i'm getting about 50DLs/day - tops.

Most people are Copper rank and will earn $4 from 1k downloads of 100 MB files. I'll create a list from the replies in this thread and so that everyone can benefit from it. I get a lot of downloads by posting something that is new and rare. It might be a new movie that has came out but no one has it but you. So if you spread to at least 5 good sites, people will try to leech off you and thus you get a lot of downloads.

A good way to keep your files from getting deleted is to make a copy for each forum or blog you post it to. You can do this for 5 or 10 good sites, make a folder and put the copy of the file in the folder so you know which site has which file. That way, you can easily replace the file if it gets deleted and still have files available else where

when it comes to earning in hotfile, you need quality files and not quantity. can't say quality wins for other file hosts though.
