I'm pretty sure people who get thousand of downloads and don't have their own website, are using some sort of blackhat technique to get the downloads.

Most people are Copper rank and will earn $4 from 1k downloads of 100 MB files. I'll create a list from the replies in this thread and so that everyone can benefit from it. Yep, megathreads are good, however you should constantly have something to post in it for it now to drown in multiposters spam.
