vB masters help in for db merge

Hii guyz,

Actually I took 1 vB database from my friend.
and he gave me a .sql database.
NOTE: he didnt gave me the db admin Id and pass
Now I want to use this db on my boards.


i got 2 procedure to use
1.overwrite
2.merge

1st method not prefferable.
Now the 1st procedure worked fine but it overwrote my admin id and pass making me unable to use my admin account.


2nd method.
Now to merge the db I tried to use impex but it is not getting merged properly, i m getting many errors and all.


Pls help me,
How can i use that db.:confused:

use tools.php in the folder that says "do not upload" you can give your self super admin status from that from a normal account you have made
