IMO : The internet makes us smarter , more information

On the other hand the TV is a complete mess used to manipulate people. Not only that , the quality of the TV shows is worse than a pile of shit.

I voted "The internet makes us smarter" as i spend most of my time coding new projects and learning new things,
But on teh other hand ... Mah GF spends all day on Facebook and i dont think that makes her any smarter.

It depends on how you use it. You can learn a ton of stuff via the internet but you can also become a retard by doing a bunch of stupid crap on the internet.
