Default Directory has no index file.

My sister had just emailed me asking for some help as I'm more computer inclined then she is. Her host, Ipowerweb, had erased her account due to it not being paid on him, was a screw up due to wrong email, she has since corrected it and Ipowerweb has re-established her account.
The problem is when she now tries to view files inside a directory using her IE brower, as in http://www.herwebsite.com/images to view the pictures, this is displayed:

    Directory has no index file.
Browsing this site or directory without an index file is prohibited.
If you are the site's webmaster, you can remedy this problem by creating a default HTML page with one of the following names:

    index.html
    index.htm
    default.htm
    Default.htm
    home.html
    Home.chtml
NOTE: Filenames are case sensitive, i.e., Home.html is not the same as home.html

I checked using FTP and the files are indeed sitting inside the directory, all lower case characters so it isn't due to a misspelling error I don't believe.
apparently, she talked to Ipowerweb on the phone and they said that something happened, they're not sure what and it's up to her to fix it.
She needs to have the ability to view files like this for ebay auction listing.
Hopefully one of you good people can set me straight as how to correct this situation. Thanks!
