Bad business with Topmass.

I just thought I'd post this. I recently done (well tried,) to do a good business deal with Topmass. I just started out charging for my coding skills, and Topmass was one of my 2 customers, well it didn't work out..

He asked me to code his template, which has 4 pages. Home, Quote, Contact and Portfolio. I was planning on doing a custom contact script for him, and a animated/java whatever gallery for his portfolio, and coding him a Visual Basic program that helps clients evaluate the quote without needing to contact him/them (The VB program was going to be a surprise).

I handed him over one, that wasn't centered (he wanted it centered), and when he handed over payment I'd fix the center. But he wasn't happy with that, and even though he said he would pay me $10 (Yes $10, for a 4 page 100% validated PHP/HTML/XHTML/CSS/Java (minor java yeah,) website and a Visual Basic Program), but when I requested the payment he tells me I needa wait another day for it ? Now he reckons he told me, but he didn't. He told me he had $10 for me when I had completed it.

He reckons it's not completed, and abused my skills and business skills.

Well Topmass, proof is above that it is indeed fully functional.

Anyways, I recommend staying away from Topmass business wise, overall, rip-off and doesn't even pay you.

i can vouch for topmass, i've worked for him many times before, and he's always been straight out, a grea tguy,
i dunno what happened with you mate, but you clearly didnt talk with him properly.
And you're complaining about the price? YOU decide the price.
Also that doesn't look completed and i dont really see any java in it?

timtam, I offered him that, im not complaining about the price. im saying how much of a good deal his got. and yes, because that's only the homepage, why would I put a java gallery on the homepage when it goes into the portfolio page?

ANd from what i gather, it seems like he's asking you to wait one day? It's not that hard. Maybe he hasn't been payed yet or something?

Trust me, i've worked with him, and unless you're a complete asshole to him, he's a great guy to work with.

When he said he was done, Id pay him the next day, (when my paycheck goes into my bank account)

He didn't like it, and got very arrogant with me, treated him like a friend, and all of a sudden because he would have had to wait 24 hours, he was arrogant, and at that point I still hadn't seen a complete template anyways.

I was fully prepared to pay you, you starting being arrogant towards me, and for that Im sorry but I cannot do bussiness with you.

Im not going to reply again, theres no need for argument and if my chat had logged it I would post your arrogance.

I have already done business with some members from KWWHunction.
Everything was crystal.

Yeah, but like i said, it looks like you were being a complete dickhead to him. personally i'd do the same, if someone i'd hired started being a dick over waiting for a day, then they can go find work somewhere else
