If you want an unmetered server, just pay the price you're supposed to. OVH caps, cause that's not a reasonable price for unmetered 100mbit (aka, 30tb a month). Their servers are like $70, so kind of unfair to use so much bandwidth. As for free hosting offering unmetered bandwidth - it means 30 clients (assuming 30 are put on 1 server) have unmetered bandwidth. That sure is a lot, especially for a dollar. I'd prefer the 30GB bandwidth plan, but wouldn't go with a $1 host in the first place. You always get what you pay for.

yea i know wasn't arguing with them limiting as I knew when I bought....but on topic I voted metered as it just makes me fell safer lol to know you have this much to use even if it is ridiculous like 5tb

well there are two options onto this, either you dont know how much bandwidth your site is going to use this month its better to take unmetered to be on the safe side, coz if the bandwidth that is metered gets over you need to order more, which is an extra cost and consumes time.
So it depends on what type of site you have, and the number of visitors.
