Blog or forum for personal uploading maily ?

I had a forum on dlking.info. I think I probably lost the backup. I have to install fresh new site, and I am planning for a blog this time.

Will blog be good as I am running dlking just for uploading my posts ?
Or forum will be better choice ?

I expected blog only as your answers thats why I the confusion came of setting up the blog.

Should I report to katz that all my links are down ? Will my ranking be demoted to 1* from 2* ?

Will the traffic in blog be less as compared to forum (I submit only to katz for traffic) ?

You can inform katz about this and no they wont demote you to 1 star.
Thing is they have known you that you provide good quality stuffs so there wont be problem of getting demoted.

Might be you played with your host and have submission problems.
I had the same and I mailed katz that I am converting Blog to Forum and they everything went perfect and after a month I got 3 star.
