    Default Dilema

Hi I am thinking about new theme to my website and other few upgrades but I was thinking about one.
I think about moving to DLE from WP
I have read that WP makes big cpu load with many visitors while DLE not.

    So what is better.
To stay with wp or move to DLE

    btw.
Is there any kind of exprot tool that could I use to export all my stuff to DLE ? without posting all posts from beggining ?

    Hey.

I've not used DLE or WP, but I'd say stick with WP. RT uses WP for his site -- He'd give you good advice .

PS. Look at TechCrunch for example they're a huge site and they're on WP. It doesn't mean that when you want to change your template and install a few mods you convert to DLE

WP doesn't puts a heavy load on the server unless you install some Memory Consuming Plugins

Also you can use some plugins like WP-cache/super cache to increase the page loading speed.

WP does put a huge load on your server, Quad Core Xeon @ 2.5ghz, 4gb ram, could handle approx 40k uniques a day (@ 150k pageviews). fuckin crap.

    Altough wp super cache helped.

Bullshit, wordpress blow your 16 cores servers easy. With 3 sites each with more than 50k posts and 10k visits each one, it makes your load go to 20 easy, Don't go with wordpress i made Alot of money out of it, now im leaving.

DLE is my next move, i moved my first site yesterday.. and its working great, good luck, i recommend it.
