win7 is from a trusted source .. those started appearing after kaspersky trial i think (downloads from their site )

Well, you wouldn't believe, but 10% of the total viruses affecting PCs are made by Anti-Virus companies themselves, so as to have a good sale for their products.
Kaspersky is the biggest bitch AV company doing so. After that comes AVG.

Just because it makes sense, that doesn't make it true, I highly doubt AV companies are actually the ones creating all these trojans, worms and evil scripts that install tracking cookies.
