I believe
curl -T FILENAME.RAR ftp.hotfile.com --user UserName:YourPassword

should be
curl -T FILENAME.RAR ftp.hotfile.com -user UserName:YourPassword

Remember that linux must use the proper capitalization. this is not THIS.
