after using various VPS's, I though I should move to a dedicated server, but sadly budget doesn't allow it, so now I'm looking to move to a better VPS.

requirements:

europe DC: preferably germany, but france is fine too
400+ GB HDD space
3GB + RAM
quad core cpu / intel i7 (must be good processor)
gigabit port
BW: min 2TB download and upload
OS: windows 2008 (standard/enterprise)
no need for CPANEL or any control panel
1 IP
UNMANAGED

I wanna tel you one truth.....
You need 1GBPS port, but actually it make no change but increase your Budget for VPS , as If any one make VPS from a dedicated , It wil surely make Minimum 5 VPS from a QUAD CORE and 7 from Intel i7 core...so,

If QUAD CORE 1000 MBps port will be Divided by 5 ,means you will get 200Mb Port.
If i7 CORE used , 1000MBps will be divided by 7, means about 142 Mb port.

I also tried one ONSHORE 1Gbps VPS (4 x 3.1GHz) , but telling you the truth it was an average....They were using QUAD or Xeon [I dont know] and only making 5 VPS

Not much speed from hotfile.com.........(IP was not banned )...about 6MBps
Megaupload..................8 MBps
Rapidshare...................4 MBps

I think You can get such speed On 100MB port also...
Only one thing was Good .......RAR/UNRAR Speed was awesome

thanks for the advice, but I will use the vps also for torrents, and gigabit speed will be very handy. i know it won't make such a difference with filehosts, but with torrents - it certainly does.
