    Default Google traffic issue

    Hey,

This is the second time my site gets this sudden organic traffic drop, but after around a week the traffic goes back up. I thought I got sandboxed but I asked around and the answer I got is if a site gets sandboxed the indexed pages gets removed, but that didn't happen to me.

Anybody have an explanation for this?

    Regards,
    RT

    1) Change of theme/design

    2) Sometimes google indexes a few pages "sweet" like a new tv episode gets indexed 10 mins after posting, and therefor brings you on page #1 for that keyword and that causes your boost.. or if it doesn't happen, it can cause the drops.

Altough on this amount of google traffic it's just a guess.

    1) Don't think so, cuz it happened to me before.

    2) Most if not all of my posts gets indexed pretty fast (mins after posting), and that is not a boost cuz the average visits is just as you see, but that sudden drop cuz of a keyword? not likely. And what about the sudden rise of traffic? looks like a penalty time is finished or something like that.

Is it possible I got a penalty? if so, I wonder why...any ideas?

    Edit:

Example of a post getting indexed:

google indexed 5 mins ago: http://screensnapr.com/u/i/n15sc8.png
post is posted 5 mins ago: http://screensnapr.com/u/i/0mnnlv.png

Yea Mrt on one of my legit sites it was getting 1k+ uv and then it droped for only 2-3days and then continues to get traffic. It is kind of weird and didnt know what happened. It was only once so im not to worried. How many times has it happened to you?

Happened to me on March and again at the end of April, I'm thinking it's cuz of excessive pinging, possible?

If it's none of the reasons I posted, it's just random, especially for warez sites. I have had drops/increases 1000's of times, it's no big deal

If you read deleteds reply u would see its happening to his legit site as well

Edit: @del: Well, I installed a plugin that limits the pinging to only 3times in 10mins, lets see if that helps, thanks for the replys guys .

Coon I dont think its the type of site because mine is not related to warez at all.

And yea it could be pinging, but who knows, anything is possible.
