My site is on shared hosting and host uses Apache but I've been using nginx on my PC for tests and when I upgrade to VPS I'll use nginx

Apache for dynamic content(database transactions and the like), but I proxy static requests to nginx.

Apache - Preferred - Recommended.

Good for forums but not hardcore apps
IIS - .net, I dont like
nginx - wow, but, bit complicated to understand
