Well I did warn you oz, something was fishy and it turns out Mr ArtiFax MAYBE a scam. Well he 'might' be selling the database in various places, it's a good thing you found those.

P.S A designer he referred me to MAYBE A SCAM he took 200$ from me without giving me any gfx files.

Anyways I will use PayPal disputes, call them and do what I can if he doesnt reply. As far as that goes, There's another person who im reporting to paypal too but can't mention here. Sorry for being off topic

Hostfresh is actually very flexible when it comes to payments,he didn't pay for 6 months,it's normal that you have to clear that debt.
I didn't pay for less than a month and my servers got suspended so he is lucky that his server was online for 6 months without paying the bill.

The bid was 1600$ and i don't know where u get ur 2400$ from...

I think oz provided enough information about your lil scam that you don't need to cover your ass by posting ur chat logs..

You are correct, Hostfresh is an idiotic choice. If you read my chatlog trying to resolve the debt with him it is almost laughable (at least to me) that Artifax would sign up with them in the first place. Hostfresh were telling me "ignore the prices on the website they are out of date" and quoting me 2 and a half times as much for the exact same server (in comparison to their listed prices) as they needed to spend time dealing with the DMCA notifications...

As I said laughable and you are absolutely spot on. In addition, it is not necessary to host warez sites outside of the US, I have a list of regular hosts (big names not fly by the night resellers) who will gladly do it and forward DMCA notifications. Of course, if you do host it in the US you may get 6 planes full of FBI agents after you... But than again that happened to Richard anyway right? lol

Exactly, I can't even imagine what he is conjuring up. I hope you do try to post screenshots, as I have posted everything already, anything else will have to be photoshopped, and believe me I'll take the time to pull it apart and highlight the modified pixels for everyone to see. I expect you will type up your own chatlog, or maybe screenshot someone else making offers (which is completely irrelevant to me). You closed the auction at $1600, we agreed on conducting the transaction in two parts $800 in each, and you did not give what you promised. No bidding war EVER occured, I was NEVER informed of any competiting bids continuing after the auction CLOSE and as is evidence of the times in the gmails and the email conversation we quickly agreed on payment method and I did the transfer.

The 2400, him posting that on the forum here was the first I heard of it. It is a COMPLETE and utter fabrication, as is clear from the language in the email screenshots, etc. Why would I transfer $800, get the .com domain, transfer $800 more and sit around while you hold all of my money? Admit the truth about the agreed upon price and maybe we can come to some form of a resolution. But if you are going to carry on with your lies, as you do, believing you are some master tactition that can deceive his way out of any situation I am telling you straight - you've picked the wrong guy.

I guess that is why Artifax didn't want to use Paypal. I won't say any names, but someone high up on this forum (and he can own up if he wants to) and a respected member of this scene attempted to the buy the site off him before and Artifax was refusing to use any service that may risk a chargeback and he didn't want escrow. I kind of understand this, and being that I had no intent of ripping him I was happy to comply. Sadly it seems I would of been well justified in charging back by now at least on the second half of the money.
