Default Gmail marking mail as spam.

Gmail decides to mark my server mail as spam even though, I am not on any blacklists, my SPF records PASS, and my domain key is GOOD.

Does anybody have an idea why Gmail would be marking my mail as spam?

    They aren't "legit" emails.
The auther of the emails form your server can be anything.

You need to set your server email to something like name@yourdomain.com

Would sending the mail by SSL on port 465 be better than sending it with no security on port 25? Because for some reason I don't receive mail at all when I try to send it as SSL.

Your txt record should look like

    Code:
    Host: yourserver.com
    Code:
    Text Description : v=spf1 a ptr ip4:0.0.0.0 mx:youremailserver.com ~all
the ip4 should be your server's external ip
