    @ elchunco: Sorry to hear that. However, all new files that you upload can be downloaded. There's no other obvious excuse to that

    @ cilembu: Sure is unusual if you run with us exclusively. If not, it wouldn't be so unusual if someone has had a problem with a bad server and then chose an alternative. Like I said; next week. I can't fast forward time, so please wait.

    thanks for the response mate, hopefully next week it will be back to normal, and sorry I cant afford to run FS exclusively, tried it once when you guys were in a lot of problem with landing files back then and never try it again

    Hey guys, just registered here

    I am again (!) experiencing FS servers that are unreachable
    I already added the lines in my Win host file but this doesn't help, it's like the whole server is missing.
    All I get (in browser) is:
    Can't connect to fs2271dm.fileserve.com

    A few days back I contactes FS through their support, received a reply after a couple days stating that they're working on it.
    But as far as I know problems like this have been going on for months now (I'm also on other boards, read the same kind of problems there).

    I recently bought my first premium account with FS and I do like the speed and all but if these problems persist I'm not sure if I'll stick with them...

    For your own good FS, fix your probs or you'll lose customers!

    Sorry if I sound a bit angry but I'm just fed up with it...

    EDIT: I don't live in the UK so it doesn't involve the blocked servers

    @ Vjeetn: Can't have been months. We started the maintenance -1- month ago. So it can't have been 2 months ago that 2271dm had problems.

    You think we like to have unreachable files? Really...?

    What other boards? DP? That board is full of...

    Well I have read there have been problems for months now, what exactly I don't know. I guess not one particular server.

    Nobody wants unreachable files or servers.

    I'm talking about the JD board, there's a large thread there too and one of the mods told me FS has had probs for months.
    I personally only experienced them since a couple weeks as I don't have premium that long yet.

    Maybe I just tuned in at a bad time with buying premium...
    See it from my perspective, I buy premium because FS looks real good and shortly after I start to get problems with unreachable servers (had this prob a couple times myself in a short timespan.)

    Again, sorry if I sounded a bit harsh in my first post

    @ Vjeetn: They are entitled to their opinion. We had 6 weeks of good streak, where nothing was going wrong except for a few complaining about their RU failed (complaints you will always get) until maintenance. File manager count has always been a pain in the ass...To be honest I've put my hand up to get rid of that, then people can point and guess and whine all they all like, but my vote gets turned down, so no reason to start debating about it, if it can get fixed...eventually.

    You may have tuned in at a wrong time...Maintenance started 4 weeks ago. It is an important maintenance which will make everything go smoother and faster at the end of the day. Right now it isn't going smooth for some servers...There's light at the end of the tunnel.

    Where most people fail to understand is that ANY of our competitors have had 8+ months advantages on us, yet, we are the service that gets "demonized" and "pissed on" even though we've made more headway for the whole industry and improved the quickest. Nice sign of gratitude.

    @ techdaemon: Yes, but that's overshadowed with "file manager count isnt counting"-complaints, but thanks for noticing

    Ok thx, I appreciate your explanation.
    I do realise FS is a fairly new hoster and I can imagine it isn't an easy task competing to others that been around for ages.

    On the other hand, I haven't lost all faith yet. I know FS is a good hoster. Just a pity about the current issues but I'm sure these will be fixed sooner or later.
    I'll just have to wait till we get to the end of that tunnel
