We will find a way later to do restriction that doesn't affect people too much. Quotas should set the pace of not blocking and "bottle-necking" for the rest of you guys.

How does Hotfile make their remote upload? 5gb quota? You can't even move your files over. When you have 5gb quota it screams of:
1. Too much control on users
2. Tightness with bandwidth/cost
3. Tightness with their "unlimited" storage.
Let me know on the above if you'd like a 5gb quota on it. The remote upload function is a PRIVILEGE, not a necessity.

Also, any idea when progress bars will be implemented to FS? =/

From what I have noticed... the remote upload in FS is pretty weird.
From my own experience, when I remote upload files from megaupload to FS, the speed is fast (insanely FAST!).
However, when I input direct links for files from my own server (which also has 100mbps line), it is extremely slow. It takes forever to start and finish (sometimes I ended up giving up and delete the transfers because it took that long).
Wonder if it is a bug, or that is how they designed the remote upload for FS. o_O
