Laptop not starting giving 3 beeps. Plz Help.
Hey guys i have a HP DV2000 laptop that just failed to start yesterday all of a sudden dont know wht the issue is.
I searched on the net and also replaced Ram with a new working one but still the same issue.
I dont see anything on the screen or anything. It just gives me the 3 beeps.
I got a review that i need to put the laptop to over heat at a place where there is no ventilation so i am trying that out.
have removed the hard disk for safety purposes.
Please assist what else it could be and how i can fix it.

crackhack.org3 beeps a startup - is a sign of memory failure. If you have two memory modules you can swap out one and then the other to identify the bad one. Sometimes just removing and inserting the memory module will fix the problem. Be careful to ground yourself before you remove the module and try to NOT touch the metal prongs. Don't do this on a carpeted floor -that is sure to generate static electricity than can kill the memory..
