Their are cases where it's called for DeLeTeD. Generally it's not needed. If you've exams or holidays you definitely don't need to make a thread.

In my opinion their's a certain type of person that makes them threads which is fine. It's the same type of people you see making milestone threads. Some people are generally more vocal and attention seekers and other's are more quiet and restraint. It's their personality. Their's no need for any rules on it. If that was the only problem on KWWH you wouldn't be blue.

I honestly think that its just to raise post count and those who post "bye" or some stupid crap like that are just doing the same. Why is there no need for a rule? I know posters get infracted regularly for "pointless posting" and I think that is about the most pointless posting you could possibly do!
