Study: 'Extreme Gamers' play 48 hours a week

Think you're a big gamer? According to a new study from market research firm NPD Group, to be considered among the real hardcore you'll need to play an average of 48.5 hours a week -- nearly seven hours a day.

I used to play 120-130 hours in two weeks according to steam, so that's about 60 hours+ a week, I guess that I used to be an extreme gamer then...

Yeah, I would agree that that is the average amount a hardcore gamer plays per week. I definitely do not hit that. I prolly on hit half of that in a week.
