Data life engine

Hello ... I need some help regarding Data Life engine ... installed a nulled DLE script but i cant change the language or templates .. when i apply settings and save it i get this msg ... i have tried so many nulled DLE scripts but all give me this msg

chmod 777 to all .tpl files in templates/default folder

i have changed all the permissions .. now i aint getting any error ... but when i change the template and save it ... it returns me to the template page and nothing is changed ... settings are not being saved
