wrzc.orgResources usage is pretty low. It only has aditional querys when a topic is being made. This doesn't happen that often when compared to stuff like page views so you won't notice any difference. Some very large sites such as FreshWap are using this sucessfully without any noticable additional server load.
That's actually not that easy. You'd have to modify the plugin and create additional prefixes. Depending on your knowledge you may have to hire someone to do this.
I get lots of PM and don't manage to reply to them all.

can we see phpBB mod version........

wrzc.orgI'm not sure. PHPBB was meant to release a new version update which has a plugin hook system like what vbulletin and IPB have which would make installing mods about 3 million billion times easier. I though that would be released by now. Even MyBB have a plugin system.
This is the latest story with it
http://blog.phpbb.com/2010/10/09/explaining-hooks/
I'll probably wait now for this to be released before making a PHPBB version as if I were to make a version now it won't be compatable with upgrades.

wrzc.orgThe hook system is totally different in 3.0.x than the one being introduced in 3.1
Originally I heard 3.1 was supposed to be released before Christmas. I haven't kept informed of it's development since so I've no idea what stage it's at.
I've just now decided that I won't be supporting PHPBB 2 or PHPBB 3.0.x but I will support PHPBB 3.1 which I though is due soon.
This is similar to how I've not coded it for IPB 2.3 as it's way more work and people have problems with manual edits.
It was possible to be backward compatable with vBulletin as 3.7 had a plugin system although it has slightly less features as a result.
