Hi,
I was wondering if somoene chooses to switch his site over to HTTPS, (Warez) would it really make some difference, lets say the site is bound to raise some dots on the authority rader?
Just a thought...

Doxsters.nethighly doubt it. Actually itd probably lower it, as most of the time it says invalid certificate, even when they do have legit cert's. it does on ff anyway

Well traffic is encrypted and decrypted on the nodes (client and server) and key is transmitted using diffe-hellman key exchange, so with any data intercepted inbetween your pc and server, nobody can prove what the data contains.
Therefore, SSL @ filehosts = good idea.
Browsing warez sites isn't illegal until you decide to download a file, so encrypting warez traffic doesn't matter.
