rar license expired in rl

so i get this weird error, that iv'e never gotten before so i tried, reupload the rar/unrar file but i still have the same problem. Did try 3.93 but i need more files for it to run and i'd rather not do that

any ideas?

chmod rar unrar to 777

do you know why 777 makes a difference? lol

7 is read write execute, if u dont have execute u cant execute it with php

google permissions you will get more details on it

i meant the difference between 755 and 777

all it is that guest can write along with user and server where as in 755 only server can write but all can execute

and im still having the same problem didn't fix it, it just randomly let me rar (it had done the same thing earlier)

755 = read/execute permission.
777 = read/write/execute permission.

As a (general) rule, all directories should be 755 and all files 644. Any files or folders requiring 777 should be below public_html.
