after restoring a database?

And where do you store avatars, db or server

i would say its one of 2 things

1. The directory is wrong or the avaters are not in there
2. theres a bbcode parser error.

What does a bbcode parse error have to do with avatars ?

the bbcode parses smiles aswell like if a user enters :\) without slashes on submit it will change this to an html img tag for that smiley

guys i found the problem. I need a file called image.php I accidentaly removed it from the server. Any idea where i can find this file? Thanks
