Cannot import phpbb2 database :S

plz help .. im trying to import my phpbb2 database (only users) but i cant .. im using 1.92V of impex .. it works fine on 3.8.3vb but now im using vb 4 .. as i click on update modules it tells me

Valid found tables :

user_group found.
users found.

then i try to import usergroups but it doesnt show anything and same as for users .. plz help ... Thankyou

You might want to create a test vb 3.8 system and import the phpbb files all of them then upgrade that to the vb4 and then copy the test members from the test vb4 to your current vb4.

Do you have SSH Access ?

Open your SSH/Telnet client and log into your website. The command line prompt you will see will vary by OS. For most hosting companies, this will bring you into the FTP root folder.

You can either change directoties to wherever the backup is located and type in the following:

mysql -u dbusername -p databasename < backupname.sql

Or if you do not want to change directories and you know the path to where the backup is located, type in the following:

mysql -u dbusername -p databasename < /path/to/backupname.sql
