Uptime is more important to me than location/resources. Most VPS sellers don't manage to keep their servers online without frequent reboots and crashes

Coon Reboot according to me Should be must...As the server runs for 24 hours..theres a lot of garbage memory filled in the RAM..so a reboot fixes it...
But Points to be noted
1>Uptime
2>reduce chances of crashes
Thanks mate..

Well rebooting is bad - some people use the VPS for site hosting - then 2 minute downtime isn't bad. Some other people use it for uploading and stuff.. what if you are a batch uploader - say you're just uploading 100 movies at once, all parts are almost all done and the server gets rebooted.. that kind of stuff, is just unacceptable in my eyes. I think you should be able to maintain 30+ days of uptime without rebooting. You can use other tools to clear up ram and such.

reddit.comWell, 1) i would want 100% control of my VPS.. It gets rebooted when i click "reboot" and not when the host want's it.
2) Access to the main server panel, not just you own VPS panel.
3) not oversold RAM and CPU.
l0calh0st: Reading a thread, helps sometimes.. FFS!
