Sry this might be stupid question but im new to these stuff and im trying to learn them all. so is VPS like remote desktop, or should i install something in order to use it for dl/upl?
Ive used RDP and its simple so is this something similar? coz im rly interesting on purchasing the 36$plan

Ok, just imagine that you have a friend in usa that his computer connected to super fast internet connection, now you ask him to install any operation system such as windows or linux and then you can use this computer for your own purpose.
for example I am using a server to sell vpn account or you may use it to download from torrents or hotfile and upload hotfile,fs or.. , or someone may use it to encode movies and reupload them or use it as a backup space.

Remember that you will be full Administrator of this computer

You told me on Yahoo, that there will be 8 users per server, and since my review 2 days ago, there is 12 user on this server. Loading of Total Commander takes almost minute.and VPS became completely unusable. Rarring 500MB with 'store' (means no compression) takes 30 minutes and more.

Any answer on this, please?
