i have never used sharingmatrix
but fileserve is pretty good

Speed:
sharingmatrix - god awful slow. Might get 50kb/sec
Fileserve - most of the time I get 404. Just refresh a few times and it goes. speed around 80kb/sec

Pay:
who cares

Other:
refuse to use them

it depends in what you upload, i guess, i use sharingmatrix for small files, and fileserve for big ones , but both pay really good
