Doing things differently.
The only thing i don't like is deffo the theme, for a "Web design" based forums the theme is very poor.
Plus it's pretty much standard.$project->uploading($surprise);

MemberFavicon - I really think you should get a new Favicon
Skin - Very simple,basic, change it ASAP.
Banner - Banner is fine, but im sure you can come up with something better
