for making a warez site purely based around ebooks?

ebooks aren't really big in the scene. so i'm jw if there's any traffic and point in bothering making a site dedicated to free ebooks.

You can give it a try, of course with a blog rather than a forum.
And if you can really put in LOTS of content, it will surely be a success, just you need to promote it thoughtfully.

ya. their is. Apple recently released their iBook store which is competing with the existing Amazon one. Their was huge hype about it but it's turned out a bit of a disaster as you can only use it in a few countries. Even still it's very popular.

If their's that much interest and media coverage over a paid store think of the possibilities of a well run and content rich Free site. I say go for it but keep the mobile audience in mind. Most people who use eBooks have them on some type of mobile devices. Very few people read eBooks on their actual PC.
