I have Windows 7 ultimate for free from My MSDN friend ..... After reformat
1) I install same windows 7 with key and use that key on another machine again. Does it get blacklisted
2) Install another OS like linux and use that key on another machine again. Does it get blacklisted
I just got windows 2k8 R2 for free ... how does it get black-listed?

may be its used by another person
because the legit keys are for 1 computer nd 1 ip
so that they get blacklisted if other use it...or may be created with hacked msdnSignature against the rules, removed. ~ Jason.

So Point 2 is ok and point 1 will make it blacklisted

if it gets blacklisted then when u do update the microsoft site will tell u
thats ur key is wrong or not leagal like this
and in 1 if ur using with same ip then thr is no problem
but if the same is using with other ip nd u also using same then it may blacklisted..Signature against the rules, removed. ~ Jason.

or c microsoft news..may be get ur answer thr
yeah may be some have time period because a guy is selling acc for limited tym..
donno much more abut it..
but i always heard that its for lifetime period if u dont share or not get blacklisted then...Signature against the rules, removed. ~ Jason.
