Hit counter script needed

Hey guys,

I need a hit counter script to count the number of incomming hits from a particular website when they click a image.

Meaning if i place a banner in a website and when they click it, i should be able to know that that hit came from that website so as to monitor how many visitors i am getting from my adspots that i buy.

Please assist.

@localhost thanks for that, i want a counter that i can be able to have a unique url in which when someone clicks on that image he comes to my website and also on my database it adds +1. so that i get to know that the person clicked that image.

@porsche yeah i know but its better and simpler if i have this hit counter so i exactly get to know.
