Hello i just want to delete a section containing 28,000+ threads when i go to admincp/forum manager i cant delete some times i get connection errror or sometime vbulletin internal error is there an other way to delete it ?

i think first u need to prune all treads & then delete it..

Don't know about vB, but in phpBB there's an option to move all posts of the forum to be deleted to another forum. Isn't such an option available in vB?

if this won't work, try to delete it directly from mysql via phpmyadmin or whatever u use.

yea getting this error while pruning threads
how to dlete via phpmyadmin ?

you have limited the allowed memory size you can use in your php.ini file. or your hosting does. talk to them.
