    I think most of you will differ from me, but I prefer buying of vbulletin or IPB whenever I am using them because they deserve it.

    to give you an example, you hate when people leech things like accoutns , passwords etc from your board... the same way you are becoming pain for someone else.

    You are very smart person, because even trusted nullers like DGT can backdoor their release. So to be honest, buying the licence is best thing you can do. Or get open source script like phpBB. Every bigger forum that's powered by vBulletin is licenced.
