[HELP]my site shows database error when shift to other server.

Hi

i hve got a problem i want to shift my vbulletin4 site from my vps to other server. i took backup from the vps and its about 58 mb.
I extracted it and found my site's public_html folder that is where my whole site files were .. but when i upload those to the other server . and try o access t from browser. it shows database error. i m not sure is it because of some missing files or do i have to upload MYSQL database also. and if that is then where i can upload it. ?

or if its like the cache clearing problem then how can i do it.?

Create a SQL DB and then dump the forums DB in the new one. To do that u can use either Big Dumper or mysqlDumper.

It sounds like you didn't upload the database. What kind of control panel are you using?

go to the phpmyadmin in cpanel

and there create a database

and upload all of your database sql file in the newly created database

hey thanx Guys... esp. Raj. actually i didnt upload the databse.. now heres what i did now.
i just created a new database and then from phpmyadmin i uploaded my sites database from previous server.

and its working now..
