How to create some sort of database? (Not SQL or something)

Hey guys,

so for my website about an anime and the games for it I need to make some sort of searchable database that contains all the cards used in the game. Now I just need to know how to make something like this and how to add things afterwards. I know it's probably hard to understand but this is a screen of something I would like. The only difference is that the version of vBulletin in the screen is 3.8.X and i'm running 4.0.X.

When you click on the ''Pack 50'' button you get this:



As you can see you have alot of options to sort the cards too but that's not really nessecary, only a search block where you can search a card name. Any idea's?
If someone can make a start on my forums and explain to me how to continue on my own that would be cool...I could pay a small tenner for it too...(10 Euro)

Since their isn't too much data (only 50 enteries) you can use what's called a flat file database.

Hmm that looks pretty hard for someone who doesn't know too much about php things...for example me Any other idea's? After reading back that site I do realize there can be done something with an SQL db too.
