Advice on Server

So say I ordered this server from 100tb.com

Intel Quad Core Xeon 3220 - 4 x 2.40GHz

* 2 x 500GB HDD
* 8GB RAM
* 1 GigE (1000Mbit) dedicated port
* 100TB monthly transfer

with 1-2 users on it running linux

for yawns script and a private rapidleech what kind of speeds would i be looking at as far as uploading and downloading from rapidshare, megaupload, and hotfile.
I know they are probably blocked from hotfile.

I mean would it really be worth it as far as speeds with the limited number of users using it.

You will not expect the speeds you would think. This all depends on the DC you get

If you go for WDC which is where I would go. 20MB/s down from MU and uploading sucks for MU anywhere you go. RS is 1-5mb/s down and I have no clue about up. I can test it in a little while and post back. Hotfile is almost 99% chance of downloading being blocked but you should expect 10-12mb/s up.

Would it be worth it? I mean if you got money to burn I would say sure. Hotfile = Shit for uploaders. I don't know why everyone wants it because most DC's are banned. The ones that are not will be slow.

I wouldn't do it as the price is not cheap but it's up to you

ya that would be usa based but if i cant get like 20 mb up and down or about it definately wouldn't be worth it. I just upload to hf for the payout and rs for katz. i dont upload to mu much because of the speed. i mean i can remote upload to there from most rapidleech sellers at 10mbs but it is waiting for the upload to start that sucks

Hehe, I have 3 of those servers right now. The server I tested those on is empty. I'm migrating clients over to it asap
