VBSEO----Problem (Links are not identified)

Guys...... i had uploaded my backup.... and now when i enable VBSEO then it can't find my links..... Whats that problem?

Should i remove it and install it again? or is there anything else?

and please let me know that what is the advantages of using VBSEO...
I know little bit but would like to know more in details? and please solve this issue

I had uploaded my forum backup in my forum direcoty... now when i click on any section of my forum it says 404 error... when i disable VBSEO plugin... then all the links are working fine....
whats the problem?
should i resbumit my links in VBSEO or something else?

might be a htaccess error.

did you upload the .htaccess file again?

your .htaccess file has to be filled again with the rewrite engine code as said by bxflow

i am sorry...i don't know where is this file located.... when i searched for this, i found this file in many directories so don't know where to paste that file.....
so let me know the exact location of that file....

the .htaccess file should be in your directory root

upload it again from your vbseo download package

make sure u have uploaded the .htaccess file to ur forum root folder
and try to access it again
if not working,
simply install it once again without removing the exisitng instalation
