guys how to updated the status of web site in google.com and other search engine? or how to do the site map thing? i mean generate own site map and put in in google... one of my friend said this but don't know how to do this
i wana register my web site in all search engine....so guide me in this regard

I'd suggest using ping services. These are usually used to ping blogs. However, using them for sites still helps.

create a account in google.com/webmasters/ and add and verify your website and there you can submit your sitemap and do other stuff regarding your site

For submitting Sitemap on google, use Google WebmasterTools, you can access them from your Google account, when you go on Account settings, you will see "Webmaster Tools".
