Personaly you should find a host that offers backup services and is not some kid trying to make a quick buck, i feel sorry for you as you cant get your files so it could be months worth of work down the drain
Next you should make your own offsite backups or even go with a host that offers backup solutions
It's amazing, being in a community can cause hate. Competitors or not - DDOS isn't cool :)
