How many of you think web host are annoying

Alright so it seems to me that every-time some one creates a new thread.

Example: Looking for Hosting, Looking for cheap vps etc.

Their are always people that come on the forum and say

I can off you

Bandwidth: xxx
Space: xxx
Ram: xxx

and so on & so on. But what ever happened to people referring guest or members to host instead of host jumping on each thread trying to get business

But out of all curiosity does this annoy you ?

There's so much competition these days that hosts can't afford to sit back and wait for someone to refer them. Most of the members would only refer the well known ones or their friends. Other hosts gotta take the initiative themselves.

I don't really understand what you mean. But yes, the hosting business is very competitive.
everybody is trying to attract a customer no matter how obnoxious they do it.
But instead users asking for hosting offers every supplier should make a thread on what he is offering.

He's talking about self advertising.
Example: http://www.besthostingforums.com/showthread.php?t=41236 (just a random one I found)

And @DLow if you look, the only people who do this are the "newer" hosts that keep popping up everyday here on KWWH. (and btw you're guilty of doing this too)
That's why people get so confused when wanting to get a decent host. -- and then they come back with the dumb threads about "oh I got scammed, blah blah" - well obviously you did, what did you expect for Unlimited space / bw for 1$. smh

I wish KWWH was a little more like WHT.
