AdminCP -> Main Setting -> Categories -> to Add new category

You have to add new categories. Example:

And to use new categories, you have to edit your main.tpl (just add/change some Html code)

I am quite new to DLE. This is the following code in the main.tpl file:

	d.add(0,-1, 'Select A Category');

The problem is the categories are not displaying

Help me with this problem.

If you have cpanel/ftp access then open dle folder > theme name folder > main.tpl file
Now add the above code as Joomlaz said. Thats it.
